나의 자녀여, 내가 이것들을 여러분에게 쓰는 것은 여러분이 죄를 짓지 않게 하기 위함입니다.
그리고 만일 어떤 사람이 죄를 지었으면 우리에게는 아버지 앞에서 변호해주시는 분이 계시니
곧 의로우신 예슈아 하마쉬아흐십니다.
그분 자신이 바로 우리의 죄들을 위한 속죄제물이시니 우리뿐만 아니라 온 세상을 위한 것입니다.
우리가 그분의 계명들을 지키면 이것으로 우리가 그분을 안다는 것을 알게 됩니다.
'내가 그분을 안다.'라고 말하면서 그분의 계명들을 지키지 않는 자는 거짓말쟁이니
이 사람 안에는 진리가 없습니다.
그러나 그분의 말씀을 지키는 자는 그 사람 안에서 하나님의 사랑이 진실로 완전해진 것이니
이것으로 우리가 그분 안에 있다는 것을 알게 됩니다.
자기가 그분 안에 거한다고 말하는 자는 그분이 걸어가신 대로 자기도 걸어가야 합니다.
사랑하는 자들이여, 내가 여러분에게 쓰는 것은 새 계명이 아니라 처음부터 있었던 옛 계명이니
그 옛 계명은 여러분이 들었던 말씀입니다.
그러나 사실은 다시 그분과 여러분 안에 참된 새 계명을 내가 여러분에게 쓰니
이는 어둠이 지나가고 참 빛이 이미 비치고 있기 때문입니다.
자기가 빛 안에 있다고 말하면서 자기 형제를 미워하는 자는 아직 어둠 안에 있습니다.
자기 형제를 사랑하는 자는 빛 안에 있으며, 자기 속에 장애물이 없습니다.
그러나 자기 형제를 미워하는 자는 어둠 속에 있으며, 어둠 속에서 걸어가기 때문에 자기가 어디로 가는지 알지 못합니다.
왜냐하면, 어둠이 그의 눈을 멀게 하였기 때문입니다.
자녀여, 내가 여러분에게 쓰는 것은 그분의 이름을 통하여 여러분의 죄들이 용서받았기 때문입니다.
아버지들이여, 내가 여러분에게 쓰는 것은 여러분이 처음부터 계신 분을 알았기 때문입니다.
청년들이여, 내가 여러분에게 쓰는 것은 여러분이 악을 정복하였기 때문입니다.
자녀여, 내가 여러분에게 쓰는 것은 여러분이 아버지를 알았기 때문입니다.
아버지들이여, 내가 여러분에게 쓰는 것은 여러분이 처음부터 계신 분을 알았기 때문입니다.
청년들이여, 내가 여러분에게 쓰는 것은 여러분이 강하고 하나님의 말씀이 여러분 안에 거하며 악을 정복하였기 때문입니다.
세상을 사랑하지 말고, 세상에 있는 것들을 사랑하지 마십시오.
만일 누가 세상을 사랑하면 아버지의 사랑이 그 안에 있지 않습니다.
이는 세상에 있는 모든 것이 육신의 욕심과 눈의 욕심과 재물의 자랑이니
아버지께로부터 나온 것이 아니라 세상으로부터 나온 것이기 때문입니다.
세상도 지나가고 세상의 욕심도 지나가나 하나님의 뜻을 행하는 사람은 영원히 거합니다.
자녀여, 마지막 시간입니다.
하마쉬아흐의 대적자가 온다는 것을 여러분이 들었던 것처럼 지금 하마쉬아흐의 많은 대적자가 있습니다.
그러므로 우리는 마지막 시간인 줄 압니다. 그들이 우리에게서 나갔으니 우리 편이 아닙니다.
만일 그들이 우리 편이라면 우리와 함께 거하였을 것입니다.
그러나 그렇게 하지 않은 것은 결국 그들 모두가 우리 편이 아니라는 것이 드러난 것입니다.
여러분은 거룩하신 분으로부터 성령부음을 받아 모든 것을 알게 되었습니다.
내가 여러분에게 쓰는 것은, 여러분이 진리를 몰라서가 아니라 알았기 때문이고 모든 거짓말은 진리에서 나오는 것이 아니라는 것을 알았기 때문입니다. 누가 거짓말쟁이입니까? 예슈아께서 그 하마쉬아흐가 아니라고 부인하는 자가 아닙니까?
아버지와 아들을 부인하는 자가 바로 하마쉬아흐의 대적자입니다.
아들을 부인하는 자는 누구든지 그 안에 아버지가 계시지 않으며, 아들을 시인하는 자는 아버지가 계십니다.
여러분은 처음부터 들었던 것을 여러분 안에 거하게 하십시오.
만일 처음부터 들었던 것이 여러분 안에 거하면 여러분은 아들 안에 거하고, 또 아버지 안에 거할 것입니다.
그분이 우리에게 약속하신 것은 영생입니다.
나는 여러분을 치우치게 하는 자들에 관하여 여러분에게 이 글을 씁니다.
여러분은 그분에게서 기름 부음 받아 그분이 여러분 안에 거하시기 때문에 다른 누군가가 여러분을 가르칠 필요가 없습니다.
기름 부음 받은 여러분에게 성령님께서 모든 것을 가르치실 것입니다. 그분은 참되시니 거짓이 없습니다.
그분께서 가르치신 대로 여러분은 그분 안에 거하십시오. 자녀여, 이제 그분 안에 거하십시오.
이는 그분이 오실 때 우리가 담대함을 가져서 그분에게 부끄러움을 당하지 않게 하기 위함입니다.
만일 그분이 의로우시다는 것을 여러분이 안다면 의를 행하는 모든 사람이 그분에게서 태어났다는 것을 아는 것입니다.

My little children,
these things I write to you,
that ye may not sin:
and if any one may sin,
an advocate we have
with the Father,
Yeshua the Messiah,
a righteous one.
And He,
He is a propitiation for our sins,
and not for ours only,
but also for the whole world.
And in this we know
that we have known Him,
if His commands we may keep.
He who is saying,
I have known Him,
and His command is not keeping,
a liar he is, and in him the truth is not.
And whoever may keep His word,
truly in him the love of God
hath been perfected,
in this we know that in Him we are.
He who is saying:
in Him he doth remain,
ought according as He walked
also himself so to walk.
Brethren,
a new command I write not to you,
but an old command,
that ye had from the beginning,
the old command
is the word that ye heard
from the beginning;
again, a new command I write to you,
which thing is true in Him and in you,
because the darkness doth pass away,
and the true light doth now shine.
He who is saying: in the light he is,
and his brother is hating,
in the darkness he is
till now.
He who is loving his brother,
in the light he doth remain,
and a stumbling-block
in him there is not.
And he who is hating his brother,
in the darkness he is,
and in the darkness he doth walk,
and he hath not known whither he doth go,
because the darkness did blind his eyes.
I write to you
little children because the sins
have been forgiven you
through His name.
I write to you, fathers,
because ye have known Him
who is from the beginning,
I write to you, young men,
because ye have overcome the evil.
I write to you, little youths,

and the word of God in you doth remain,

Little youths: it is the last hour,

Who is the liar except he who is denying
that Yeshua is the Messiah?
this one is the antichrist who is denying
the Father and the Son.
Every one who is denying the Son,
neither hath he the Father,
he who is confessing the Son
hath also the Father.
Ye, then, that which ye heard
from the beginning,
in you let it remain,
if in you may remain
that which from the beginning
ye did hear, ye also in the Son
and in the Father shall remain.
And this is the promise
that He did promise us,
the age-during life.
These things I did write to you
concerning those leading you astray.
And you, the anointing
that ye did receive from Him,
in you it doth remain,
and ye have no need
that any one may teach you,
but as the same anointing
doth teach you concerning all,
and is true and is not a lie,
and even as was taught you,
ye shall remain in Him.
And now, little children: remain in Him,
that when He may be manifested,
we may have boldness,
and may not be ashamed before Him,
In His presence.
If ye know that He is righteous,
know ye that every one doing the righteousness,
of Him hath been begotten.
