여러분은 각자 자기 일만 살피지 말고, 다른 사람들의 일도 서로 살피십시오.

그러므로 만일 여러분 중에 어떤 사람이 마쉬아흐 안에서 권면이나 사랑의 위로나 영의 교제나 자비나 긍휼이 있다면 같은 생각을 하고, 같은 사랑을 가지며, 한 생각으로 연합하여 내 기쁨을 충만케 하십시오.

야심이나 허영심을 버리고, 서로 비천한 마음으로 자기보다 남을 낫게 여기십시오. 여러분은 각자 자기 일만 살피지 말고, 다른 사람들의 일도 서로 살피십시오.

여러분 품어야 할 것은 이것이니 마쉬아흐 예슈아 안에서 품어야 할 생각입니다.

그는 하나님의 모습이셨지만 하나님과 동등함을 자기 것으로 여기지 않으시고, 자기를 비워 종의 모습을 취하여 사람의 모양으로 되셨습니다. 이렇게 사람과 같은 겉모습으로 나타나셔서 자기 자신을 낮추시고 죽기까지 순종하셨으니 곧 십자가의 죽음입니다. 그래서 하나님께서는 그를 지극히 높이시고, 어떤 이름보다 뛰어난 이름을 주셨습니다.

예슈아의 이름에, 하늘과 땅과 땅 아래 있는 모든 것이 무릎을 꿇고 

모든 언어로 예슈아 하마쉬아흐는 주님이라고 고백하여 하나님 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨습니다.

그러므로 나의 사랑하는 자들이여, 여러분이 항상 순종하였던 것처럼 내가 있을 때뿐만 아니라 지금 내가 없을 때에도 더욱더 경외함과 떨림으로 자신의 구원을 이루십시오.

참으로 여러분 안에서 일하시는 분은 하나님이시니 그분을 기쁘시게 하려고 뜻을 품게도 하시고, 일하게도 하십니다.

여러분은 어떤 일을 하든지 불평과 다툼이 없게 하고, 흠 없고 순결하게 굽어지고 뒤틀린 세대 가운데서 하나님의 흠 없는 자녀가 되어 세상에서 빛을 비추는 자들이 되십시오.

생명의 말씀을 굳게 잡으십시오. 그러면 나의 담음질과 나의 수고가 헛되지 않고 하마쉬아흐의 날에 내게 자랑거리가 될 것입니다.

내가 여러분의 믿음의 제물과 봉사 위에 술제물로 부어질지라도 내가 기뻐하고 여러분 모두와 함께 즐거워할 것입니다.

이처럼 여러분도 기뻐하고, 나와 함께 즐거워하십시오. 

내가 주 예슈아 안에서 바라는 것은 티모테를 여러분에게 속히 보내어 여러분에 관한 소식을 알고 힘을 얻으려는 것입니다. 이는 티모테와 같은 마음을 가지고 여러분을 진심으로 염려하는 사람이 내게는 없기 때문입니다. 참으로 그들 모두는 자기 일만 추구하지, 예슈아 하마쉬아흐의 일은 추구하지 않습니다. 그러나 티모테의 연단은 여러분이 잘 알고 있습니다. 그는 마치 자식이 아버지에게 하듯 나와 함께 복음을 위하여 섬겼습니다.

그러므로 나의 일이 되어 가는 것을 보면서 그를 곧 보낼 수 있기를 바랍니다. 그리고 나도 곧 가게 될 것을 주님 안에서 확신합니다.

나는 에파프로디토를 여러분에게 보내는 것이 필요하다고 생각합니다. 그는 나의 형제며 동역자고, 전우며, 여러분의 사절이고, 나를 도와주는 일꾼입니다.

이는 그가 여러분 모두를 그리워하고 있으며, 자기가 병든 것을 여러분이 들은 것 때문에 도리어 괴로워하고 있기 때문입니다. 참으로 그는 병이 나서 거의 죽게 되었으나 하나님께서 그에게 은혜를 베푸셔서 슬픔 위에 슬픔을 당하지 않게 하셨으니 그에게뿐만 아니라 내게도 마찬가지였습니다.

내가 힘써서 그를 보내니 이는 여러분이 그를 다시 보고 기뻐함으로 나의 근심을 덜기 위함입니다. 그러므로 여러분은 큰 기쁨으로 주님 안에서 그를 환영하십시오. 그리고 그런 사람들을 귀하게 여기십시오.

왜냐하면, 그는 하마쉬아흐의 일 때문에 죽음까지 가까이 갔고, 나에 대한 여러분의 봉사의 부족함을 채우려고 목숨을 돌보지 않았기 때문입니다.

필맆포 성도들에게(빌립보서)2장

Pilippians 2:

If, then, any exhortation is in Messiah, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of spirit, if any bowels and mercies: fulfil ye my joy, that ye may mind the same thing—having the same love—of one soul—minding the one thing.

Nothing in rivalry or vain-glory, but in humility of mind one another counting more excellent than yourselves. Each not to your own look ye, but each also to the things of others. For, let this mind be in you that is also in Messiah Yeshua: who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal to God, but did empty Himself, the form of a servant having taken, in the likeness of men having been made.

And in fashion having been found as a man, He humbled himself, having become obedient unto death—death even of a cross (tree).

Wherefore, also, God did highly exalt Him, and gave to Him a name that is above every name:

That in the name of YESHUA every knee may bow—of heavenlies, and earthlies, and what are under the earth,

And every tongue may confess that YESHUA Messiah is Master (Lord), to the glory of God the Father.

So that, my beloved, as ye always obey, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, with fear and trembling your own salvation work out: for God it is who is working in you both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

All things do without murmurings and reasonings,

that ye may become blameless and harmless, children of God,

unblemished in the midst of a generation crooked and perverse,

among whom ye do appear as luminaries in the world.

The word of life holding forth, for rejoicing to me in regard to a day of Messiah, that not in vain did I run, nor in vain did I labour,

but if also I am poured forth upon the sacrifice and service of your faith,

I rejoice and joy with you all, because of this do ye also rejoice and joy with me.

And I hope, in the Master Yeshua, Timotheus to send quickly to you,

that I also may be of good spirit, having known the things concerning you,

for I have no’ one like-minded, who sincerely for the things concerning you will care: for the whole seek their own things, not the things of the Messiah Yeshua, and the proof of him ye know, that as a child serveth a father, with me he did serve in regard to the good news, him, indeed, therefore, I hope to send, when I may see through the things concerning me—immediately,

and I trust in the Master that I myself also shall quickly come.

And I thought it necessary Epaphroditus—my brother, and fellow-workman, and fellow-soldier, and your apostle and servant to my need—to send unto you, seeing he was longing after you all, and in heaviness, because ye heard that he ailed,…..for he also ailed nigh to death, but God did deal kindly with him, and not with him only, but also with me, that sorrow upon sorrow I might not have.

The more eagerly, therefore, I did send him,

that having seen him again ye may rejoice,

and I may be the less sorrowful.

Receive him, therefore, in the Master, with all joy,

and hold such in honour.

Because on account of the work of the Messiah, he drew near to death, having hazarded the life that he might fill up your deficiency of service unto me (Paulus).
