여러분도 같은 자세를 가지고 무장하십시오.

 

그러므로 하마쉬아흐께서 육신의 고난을 겪으셨으니 여러분도 같은 자세를 가지고 무장하십시오. 이는 육신의 고난을 겪은 자는 죄에서 단절되었기 때문입니다.

이제 여러분은 육신의 남은 시간을 더 이상 인간의 욕심대로 살지 말고 하나님의 뜻에 따라 살아야 합니다. 참으로 지난 시간을 여러분은 이방인들이 추구하던 일을 마음껏 하면서 지내었으니 곧 방탕과 탐욕과 술 취함과 유흥과 불법과 가증한 우상 숭배에 빠져 살아왔습니다.

그들은 여러분이 그들과 함께 방탕한 생활에 빠지지 않는 것에 놀라면서 여러분을 비방합니다. 그러나 그들은 산 자와 죽은 자를 심판하려고 준비하시는 분께 말로 해명해야 합니다.

참으로 이런 이유 때문에 죽은 자들에게도 복음이 전해졌습니다. 그들이 육신으로는 사람들처럼 비난받았지만 영으로는 하나님을 따라 살게 하려는 것입니다.

모든 것이 종말이 가까웠습니다. 그러므로 온전한 정신을 가지고 기도로 깨어 있으십시오. 무엇보다도 먼저 서로 열심히 사랑을 하십시오. 사랑은 많은 죄를 덮습니다. 불평하지 말고 서로 대접하십시오.

각 사람이 받은 은사대로, 하나님의 여러 가지 은혜를 맡은 선한 청지기로서 서로 섬기십시오.

어떤 사람이 말할 때에는 하나님의 말씀처럼 말해야 하고, 어떤 사람이 섬길 때에는 하나님께서 공급하시는 힘을 받은 사람처럼 섬겨야 합니다. 이는 모든 일에서 예슈아 하마쉬아흐를 통하여 하나님께서 영광받으시게 하기 위함입니다. 영광과 권능이 그분에게 영원토록 있습니다. 아멘.

사랑하는 자들이여, 여러분을 시험하려는 불을 마치 이상한 일이 여러분에게 일어난 것처럼 이상하게 여기지 말고 하마쉬아흐의 고난을 함께 나누는 것으로 기뻐하십시오. 그의 영광의 계시 때에 여러분이 기뻐 뛰며 즐거워할 것입니다.

만일 여러분이 하마쉬아흐의 이름을 위하여 모욕을 당하면 행복합니다. 왜냐하면, 영광의 영 곧 하나님의 영이 여러분 위에 머물러 계시기 때문입니다. 그러나 참으로 여러분 중 누구도 살인자나 도둑이나 악인이나 남의 일에 간섭하는 자로서 고난을 겪는 일이 없도록 하십시오.

만일 기독교인으로서 고난을 겪는다면 부끄러워하지 말고 이 일로 하나님께 영광을 돌리십시오. 왜냐하면, 하나님의 집에서 심판을 시작할  때가 되었기 때문입니다. 만일 우리부터 먼저 그 심판을 하시는 것이라면 하나님의 복음을 불순종하는 자들의 끝은 어떻겠습니까?

그리고 만일 의인이 어럽게 구원받는다면 불경건한 자와 죄인은 어디에 나타나겠습니까? 그러므로 하나님의 뜻에 따라 고난을 겪는 자들은 선을 행하면서 자신의 영혼을 신실하신 창조주께 맡겨야 합니다.

페트로의 편지(상)(베드로전서)4장

1Peter 4:1-19:
¶ FORASMUCH then as Messiah has suffered for you in the flesh,
arm yourselves also with this very thought,
he who subdues his body ceases from all sin.

That he should no longer live the rest of his time
in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

For the time past sufficed to have wrought the will of the pagans when you lived in lasciviousness, drunkenness, revellings, indecent singing, and worship of idols.

¶ And behold,
they think it strange that you do not indulge with them
in the past excesses,
and they blaspheme against you.

And they shall answer to God,
who is to judge the quick and the dead.

For, for this cause the gospel was preached also to those who are dead,
that they might be judged according to men in the flesh,
and live according to God in spirit.

¶ But the end of all things is at hand,
be devout therefore, and be mindful of prayer.

And above all things have fervent love toward one another,
because love covers a multitude of sins.

Be hospitable to strangers _ without grudging.

So let everyone of you according to the gift he has received from God,
minister the same to your fellowmen,
like good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

If any man preach,
let him preach the word of God,

and if any man minister,
let him do it according to the ability which God has given him,
so that in everything you do, God may be glorified through Yeshua Messiah.
To whom belongs glory and honour in the age, age.

¶ My beloved,
do not think it strange at the trials that come upon you,
as though some strange thing happened to you,
because these things are to prove you.

But rejoice,
for you are partakers of Messiah’s sufferings,
and when His glory shall be revealed,
you may be glad also with exceeding joy.

If you are reproached for the name of Messiah,
blessed are you,
for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you.

But let none of you suffer the fate,
of a murderer,
or a thief,
or a malefactor.

If any man suffers as a believers,
let him not be ashamed,
but let him glorify God through that very name.

For the time is come:
That judgment must begin with the house of God,
and if it first begins with us,
what shall be the end of Those*:
who do not obey the gospel of God ?

And if the righteous scarcely be saved,
how shall the wicked,
and the sinner stand judgment ?

Therefore:
let those who suffer according to the will of God,
commit their souls to Him in well doing as to a faithful Creator.
